This mini guide original from mhh forum written by Fantomel. It aim to program VCDS with USBASP programmer.I share it here, hope it helps!
How to Set Up VCDS Work on USBASP Programmer
Nowdays USB has replaced a variety of earlier PC interfaces (such as RS-232 serial, parallel port, and even FireWire ). Due to the ability to supply power to the preipheral devices USB is often used as a power charger for portable devices. Apr 8, 2016 - Cheap USBASP programmer which you china buy on ebay, ali and others. Communicating with target device; LED G – Power on; IDC pinout.
A.Connection to Interface And Computer
1.Close jumper J1 or JP1 on USBASP to establish 5V power
2.Wire connection to programmer:
3.Connect programmer to USB and let it install drivers.
a) If you have a good interface, led will become green and you are OK,if not then you did not then you did not wire it up ok, check connections.
b) If you have an erased interface then you must check if connection is ok or not.To do that open program PROGISP included in the pack and push the RD button
If you receive an error message then check wires,if not then you are
B.Testing Connection And See if all is ok
1.OPEN PROGISP 1.72 MODDED
2.SELECT CHIP ATMEGA162
3.LOAD FLASH – YOU WILL SEE IN PROGRAM BELLOW BUTTON ERASE THAT 0/16384 HAS
CHANGED IN Flash: 16384/16384
4.LOAD EEPROM – YOU WILL SEE IN PROGRAM THAT BELLOW AUTO BUTTON VALUE HAS
CHANGED FROM 0/512 IN Eprom:512/512
5.CLICK ON FIELD Lock Chip where you have value 0xCC and change bits as in picture
bellow(hw 44 model of fuses, for hw46 look on next page):

6.PUSH BUTTON X on windows Fuse&Lock and you will see that value in main program has changed from 0xFF into 0XCC
7.CHECK that you have all fields as in picture checked: Verified Signature;Erase Chip; Program Flash; Program EEPROM; Verify Flash; Verify EEPROM ; Program Fuse; Lock Chip.
DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOU HAVE PROGRAM FUSES:
0XF9DCCD FOR HW 44 OR
0XF9DACD FOR HW 46
AND LOCKCHIP 0XCC
0XF9DCCD FOR HW 44 OR
0XF9DACD FOR HW 46
AND LOCKCHIP 0XCC

BE SURE YOU HAVE CONNECTED CORRECT WIRES TOMISO,MOSI,SKC,RST,GND AND THAT YOU HAVE 12V ON YOUR INTERFACE.

- JP2 – Self Program – jumper on for self program, normally free
- JP3 – Slow SCK – Jumper on only if the target clock is lower than 1.5 MHz.
- LED R – Programmer communicating with target device
- LED G – Power on

I will write how to solve:
avrdude: warning: cannot set sck period. please check for usbasp firmware update
You have to flash a new firmware version: usbasp.2011-05-28. Precompiled bin to flash is in binfirmware directory.
I’ve got USBASP with Atmega8 so I will use usbasp.atmega8.2011-05-28.hex and Arduino UNO R3 as ISP to flash it.
- First open ArduinoISP example in Arduino IDE 1.6.8 and upload the sketch (CTRL+U). Disconnect Arduino.
- Connect arduino to usb asp directly (without any adapter only cables) as follows:
ArduinoUSBASP
105 (RESET)
111 (MOSI)
129 (MISO)
137 (SCK)
5V2 (VCC +5V)
GND10 (GROUND) - Set jumper on JP2 (you can solder goldpins).
- Set power jumper for 5V (JP1)
- Connect only Arduino to USB and check which port com it use. You must not connect usbasp to usb!
- Download AVRDUDE avrdude-6.3-mingw32.zip: http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/avrdude/
- Copy correct hex file to avrdude.exe file directory.
- Check the connection with command:avrdude: Version 6.3, compiled on Feb 17 2016 at 09:25:53

Read this: http://tosiek.pl/manual-install-drivers-and-disable-drivers-signing-policy-on-windows-10-8-8-1/
You have to first disable check signed drivers on windows 8, 8.1 and 10!
(pull Shift and click to restart > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart button again > On the Startup Settings screen press 7 or F7 to disable driver signature enforcement.)
